St. Joachim School Extension Program offers quality and affordable before and after school care for students currently enrolled in Grades Kindergarten through Eighth. The before-school program is available from 7:00-7:30 a.m. and the after-school program runs from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m.
This program will be for students who are currently enrolled at St. Joachim’s School ONLY.
The program will consist of supervised play, an area where homework can be done, and other creative activities.
The program will be under the supervision of a Program Director and 1-2 staff aides as needed.
Hours of Operation
- Morning hours will be available from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
- After school care will begin upon the school day dismissal. This includes minimum days.
- After school care will CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 6:00 P.M.
Fees
- $35.00 Registration fee per Child (NON-REFUNDABLE).
- Any parent not picking up their child(ren) by 6:00 P.M. will be assessed a $25.00 late charge for each 15 minutes overdue and $25.00 for every quarter hour thereafter per family.
- An “extra” hourly rate is available at $5.60 per hour and is due upon pick-up. This is available for students who are Registered in Extended Day Care but do not actually use it everyday.
- It is an automatic $5.60 charge if a child is picked up between 3:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. regardless if that child stays 5 minutes or 45 minutes.
- Payments are due by the 1st of each month and late after the 10th of the month.
- A fee of $35.00 will be charged for payments turned in after the 10th of each month.
- A fee of $35.00 will be charged for any returned check.
Monthly After School Fees
- $132.00 Per month for one child, full time (4-5 days per week)
- $220.00 Per month for two children, full time (4-5 days a week)
- $308.00 Per month for three children, full time (4-5 days a week)
- $110.00 Per month per child for 3 days a week.
- $88.00 Per month for each additional child, 3 days a week.
- $83.00 Per month per child for 2 days a week.
- $50.00 Per month per child for 1 day a week.
Monthly Before School Fees
- 50.00 Per month A.M. only
- The charge for using the morning care is an additional $39.00 per month for regular monthly afternoon students.
- Morning A.M. as-needed hourly rate $5.60 drop off time 7:00 am.
Statements
- Auto pay for Extended Care is also available upon request. Fill out form and attach a voided check.
- Billing statements will be sent home monthly (usually in the last “Blue Folder” of each month). Checks are preferred when making payments, however, if you pay by cash a receipt will be given to you at the time of payment.
For tax purposes, parents will be given a “Statement of Receipt of Payments” ONCE A YEAR. It will cover payments received January 1 through December 31. It will also have the Extendeded Day Care’s. Tax I.D. Number noted on it. It will be sent home no later than January 31.
Snacks
A snack will be provided each afternoon.
Check In-Out Procedures
All students participating in the Extended Day Care Program MUST check in with the director or Aide in charge immediately after school. Children are to be picked up inside the Extended Day Care. Parents must personally pick up their children and sign them OUT on the provided sign-out sheet. A written note must accompany any changes or a phone call.
